The bridge off the MacArthur Causeway lands on Palm Island, where a gatehouse checks every vehicle. Beyond it are a couple of hundred homes on an oval grid, a small public park with tennis courts, and a shoreline of seawalls and private docks facing the downtown skyline.
Palm is the larger of the two islands behind the gate, laid out as a loop road with interior streets and a short bridge across to Hibiscus at the western end. Palm Island Park sits on the north shore with tennis courts, a playground and a small stretch of sand that residents and their guests use.
There is nothing commercial on the island. The nearest coffee is across the causeway. That trade works in the guest's favor most of the time: no through traffic, no tour buses, and a five-minute drive to Lincoln Road on the occasions you want the opposite.
Waterfront lots ring the island, and the homes on them face either the Miami skyline to the west or Miami Beach to the east. Docks here handle serious boats, with Government Cut and the Atlantic a short run from the seawall. Interior houses give up the water for bigger gardens and price lower for it.
Jatina Group does not currently hold a house on Palm Island. What we do run is the staffing side anywhere in the county: house manager, housekeeping, chef, driver, security when it is wanted, with charters picking up at the dock and gate clearance for guests, deliveries and vendors arranged ahead of arrival. Our closest managed villas sit five minutes away across the causeway.
East over the causeway puts you in South Beach: Sunset Harbour first, then Lincoln Road, then Ocean Drive and the Art Deco blocks along the sand. West is downtown Miami and the Adrienne Arsht Center, with Brickell a few minutes past that and Wynwood roughly ten.
Miami International is about twenty minutes by I-395 and the Dolphin Expressway. The Miami Beach Marina and the Fisher Island ferry are both reachable in under ten. PortMiami's terminals sit across the channel in plain sight of the island's southern docks, which makes a pre-cruise night here simple.
We do not currently manage a home inside Palm Island. These are the closest villas in our collection, all within a short drive.
The island has a single vehicle entrance with a staffed gatehouse and no through traffic, which is why families with young children like it here. Streets are quiet enough to cycle on and the park has a playground. Any stay we service on the island has guests, drivers and deliveries registered at the gate beforehand.
Five minutes to Sunset Harbour and the Lincoln Road area, closer to ten for Ocean Drive and South Pointe. The causeway ramp sits at the end of the island bridge, so there is no local traffic to clear first. Downtown Miami is a similar five minutes in the opposite direction.
Concierge, staffing and property management run across Miami-Dade, so the package does not change with the address: pre-arrival stocking, housekeeping and a house manager on call, with private chefs, drivers, security, yacht charters and in-villa treatments added on request. Our own managed villas sit minutes off the island. Call +1 (305) 351-1548.
